The initiative is sponsored by the Center for the Study of Public Opinion and Foreign Policy in consultation with the City of Milan and with the collaboration of Assolombarda, Chamber of Commerce, ISPI and Telecom

--------------------------------------------------

For several years now, and even more so after the end of the Cold War, public opinion is uncertain about the meaning, value and limits, of a world that one side is increasingly interdependent and the other presents tensions and divisions consuming and difficult to solve. Based on this determination, the Center for the Study of Public Opinion and Foreign Policy, established in 1980 thanks to the agreement between the City of Milan and the University, has organized this series of conversations on topics of current international politics in a more considered broad historical perspective.

The initiative is aimed at an audience of non-specialists, but by those who have an interest in various capacities for events of international life, and who wish to investigate the information they already have through the media, each match will consist in a conversation lasting about 45 minutes, to be followed by the analysis of the fact of the day and debate with the participation of the public. The conversation, whose topic will be chosen from time to time, among the most interesting events and news on the international scene, will be accompanied by an information that will be distributed to all participants. The board developed by Mauro and Lucio Valent Elli - rebuild the historical, political and geographical subject of the conference of the event, including a short bibliography and a brief chronology of events.
