In 1915 the Academy of Lovere Tadini, prestigious museum institution founded in 1829 by Count Luigi Tadini, received a large donation of memorabilia, documents and medals of the Italian Risorgimento, Garibaldi collected by Giovanni Battista Shut up through a network of correspondents throughout Italy.
The nucleus, evidence of the cult of the Hero of two worlds and dissemination of his image, includes some memorabilia, autographs, vintage photographic documentation. The intent of the Quiet was to establish a "Garibaldi Museum."
